Talent Acquisition

Finding the right people to lead organizations is both an art and a science. At The Watershed Group, we bring both those elements together to help clients find the appropriate professional match. The perfect blend of experience, education and intangible characteristics are fundamental to selecting the best talent for leadership positions.

Following a thorough assessment of the organization’s culture and skill requirements for a specific position, we turn to our extensive network of contacts to identify solid candidates. President Patrice Moore relies on years of executive experience—and an astute intuitive understanding of human nature—to fill executive leadership positions with skillfully selected candidates matching each position’s requirements with each organization’s environment. Her comprehensive experience as Executive Director of one of the nation’s premier hospice organizations gives her a deep understanding of the skill sets required to be a successful leader—whether in the hospice/health care industry or any other business sector.

Our involvement in the placement process continues after the successful candidate is seated behind the director’s or CEO’s desk. Our comprehensive services include three months of complimentary executive coaching services to help the new leader adjust into their position.

Case Study

Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care in Myrtle Beach, SC

Issue: The Board of Directors was looking for a CEO who would be the right change agent to guide Mercy Hospice through a period of growth and transformation.

Solution: Thanks to her extensive network of contacts in the hospice industry, Patrice discovered the perfect candidate, Sara Jo Faucher. Patrice offered the support Sara Jo needed through the processes of interviewing for and orienting to her new job.

“She stayed with me through the entire process,” Sara Jo says. “She even went to the interview and offered support.. It was also part of her contract to mentor me for the first six months. That was tremendously helpful; I’d had a lot of operations experience, but hadn’t done a lot of work with Boards. So one of the things she did was to organize a Board retreat. The Board has a lot of respect for her, so that really helped to solidify my position.”

Result: Mercy Hospice got the change agent it needed in CEO Sara Jo Faucher. Thanks to the work Patrice did with Sara Jo and the Board, the new CEO has been able to effectively guide the organization to increased growth and sustainability.
